At Barksdale Missions, we believe that nurturing the well-being of children and families begins with caring for the professionals who walk alongside them. The Tip Line is a non-emergency consultation service created to support Mississippi’s providers—those working in homes, schools, clinics, and communities.
This provider-to-provider resource is designed specifically for professionals such as home visitors, early childhood educators, social workers, child welfare team members, and others who serve infants, young children, and their caregivers.
When questions arise or situations feel complex, The Tip Line offers a space to pause, reflect, and receive support. Through this service:
- A licensed mental health professional will collaborate with you to think through emotional, behavioral, or relational concerns impacting a child or family.
- Our resource coordination team will assist in identifying and connecting families to appropriate services, offering follow-up support to help those connections take root.
Together, we aim to:
- Strengthen the capacity of frontline professionals
- Promote relational health in early childhood
- Offer grounded, relationship-based guidance
- Bridge families to meaningful and sustainable supports
